- When to use mosquito repellent?
Use Jungle Formula whenever you go outdoors. Although they are active throughout the day, Mosquitoes are particularly ferocious at dusk and dawn in tropical locations. Always read the instructions carefully before using insect repellent.

- Which Jungle Formula should I use in countries where malaria is endemic?
Use a product from the Jungle Formula Maximum range when visiting countries with a risk of insect-transmitted disease.
These products all contain 50% DEET. Check with your local doctor or travel clinic for more information on malarial medication or vaccination before travelling.
- Which Jungle Formula should I use in countries where Zika is present?
For travels in Zika-affected countries, use the Jungle Formula Maximum range, which includes aerosols, pump sprays and roll-on formats. Use a plug in your room when you go out to exterminate mosquitoes and other insects. Plugs are not suitable for pregnant women. Check with your healthcare professional before using on children.
- Which insects will Jungle Formula kill?
JF does not kill but repels mosquitos, midges and other biting insects. Use Jungle Formula plug in to get rid of mosquitos and other small insects.
- Can I use several products at once?
Use the Jungle Formula product most suited to your destination, use Jungle Formula Maximum Any Destination Aerosol or Spray for ages 2+ and Family Protect Spray for ages 1+. You can use the Jungle Formula Plug In in conjunction with other Jungle Formula products.

- Can I use sunscreen with insect repellent?
Always apply sunscreen under insect repellent to ensure that sunscreen and insect repellent remain effective.
- What is DEET?
DEET is the common name for N,N-Diethyl-m-toluamide. It has been used as a WHO-approved insect repellent for decades and is recommended for use in tropical destinations at risk of insect transmitted diseases.
- Is there DEET in Jungle Formula?

- Should I re-apply Jungle Formula after swimming?
Factors such as swimming and perspiration may affect the product efficacy and may require product re application

Products containing DEET may cause damage to clothing. Avoid direct contact with fabric before insect repellent is dry.
- Will Jungle Formula discolor my jewelry?
Again, avoid direct contact as DEET may cause damage to metals.

- How long does Jungle Formula keep once opened?
All Jungle Formula products have an expiry date printed in the product. Always check the product expiry date or contact us with the batch number.
